DEVOPS DEV
I decided to delve deeper into software development. As a result, I began my journey at SachsenEnergie AG, where I contribute to their web development efforts. The technology stack in use includes Angular and NestJS.
To take on new challenges, I started my new job at Adesso SE. There, I delved deeper into DevOps topics, with a main focus on Cloud Computing and migrating existing on-premises Spring Boot applications. We used Google Cloud, Terraform and Kubernetes as our technology stack. My responsibilities included ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications in the cloud environment.
In diverse projects I developed applications in a DevOps context. Among others, this included an application for optimizing business processes based on the MEAN stack for a German telecommunications company. Furthermore, I gained a lot of experience in IT infrastructure process automation, both in the enterprise area with the Micro Focus tool stack, as well as with open source products like Ansible.
As a career starter in the IT industry, I went through a three-month trainee program to gain in-depth knowledge of all areas of DevOps. I focused on the automation of IT processes as well as cloud services and test automation. In addition to the technical knowledge I gained, I was able to take my soft and communication skills to the next level.
During my time as a student trainee, my main task was to support the internal process-oriented management system. This included the conception and modeling of the processes in BPMN as well as participation in the operative quality management, such as the support of trainings and audits.
On the side of economics, I delved into systems development. This included modules such as business engineering and enterprise modeling. On the technical side, I focused on production and logistics, especially in production logistics.
Technology Management is an interdisciplinary degree program that combines classical engineering education with business know-how. My focus was on construction and development.
The first study I started was in Mechanical Engineering. I changed to Technology Management after one year because my interests developed and went beyond just engineering science.
The Abitur is the highest German school-leaving qualification and is comparable to the Advanced Level.
